Hi,

Im running time machine on my macbook with leopard and a 500gb TC. I had it working fine for a while, now every time it tries to backup it crashes my mac and gives me a black overlay saying i need to restart computer by holding down the power button.

Any suggestions?

Fix: Try deleting the .sparsebundle file. This will erase all your previous data on backup, but if time machine crashes when you open it anyway, you are not losing any information that you can access.

Hope this helps others
