I'm a Canadian travelling to the Southern US for business next month. The election just happens to fall within the 5 weeks I will be there. Should I fill my hotel room with canned goods and jugs of water?

All joking aside, do you think there's a chance of things getting out of hand?

Stay away from high rises, it could be like the stock market crash with all the liberals jumping to their doom after the Don wins.

If Trump wins, avoid walking around with a jug of tequila and wearing a sombrero. If Clinton wins, don't leave the hotel on days with many Predator drones in the sky.

I didn't say the stock market was going to crash. I was using a past event to describe how it's going to be for a future event jokingly.

Well I guess no matter which way it goes it will be an interesting time to be an observer.
I have been practicing my lines. I'm going to be in South Carolina so I'm torn between:

1 - "I don't know enough about it to have an opinion."

    2 - "Trump, I'd 100% definitely vote for Trump"

Getting out of hand, as in, dogs and cats living together? I highly doubt it.

Agreed, people will be upset regardless of who wins but there won't be riots.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if there were a couple localized incidences of our of hand protesting if Trump won.

I could also see the stock market going through a short rough patch given the poor feedback on his economic and trade deals.
