I just chanced upon this on Facebook this morning titled Merry Christ-MASS, this is how it started

My first thought of the title and the video which is in a large shopping mall was "What can be more opposite than the mall and mass/church?"

This totally blew me away even though I thought I have seen everything in terms of a flash mob.

FYI, you can put a YouTube video directly into your post by using the below example. You take the text after the equals sign in the YouTube URL and you of course substitute an "o" for the "*" I put in to show you.

You can use the [plain] tag to enclose tags that would otherwise be parsed. Example:

I know, right?

If Jesus threw the tables over of the merchants/money changers, just imagine what he would do at the Galleria?:p

I don't disagree with the idea that Christmas is way too commercialized. But didn't jesus throw over the tables because the merchants/money changers were defiling the temple by doing their business there?

like the current crop of priest handing out the collection plates to pay of the lawyers & the victims of sexual abuse by priest? commercialized like paying ,,,er "making heavy "donations" to the church when you want to get "married"? paying a fee,,,er donation when you want your loved one mentioned at the end of mass?

As an atheist, I enjoy Christmas--the decorated trees, lights, gifts, songs, and so on. But then I probably would have relished the Celtic festival of Alban Arthuan just as much.

Religion rarely makes sense, but it often puts on a good show.

I'm Agnostic but I still like Christmas Time. The lights, gifts, kid's faces...

Lest we forget the 3 wise men turned up bearing gifts of a PS4, a HDTV and wireless surround sound system.

Just think, if people thousands of years ago had PS4's and HDTV's they wouldn't have been bored enough to sit around writing violent stories and we wouldn't have religion today as we know it.

Religions Video games are archetypal stories, involving archetypal heroes and villains, engaging in archetypal actions on archetypal journies involving the triumph of good over evil, where "good" and "evil" are often determined by which side one belongs to.

Archetypal, adj.
- recurrent as a symbol or motif in literature, art, or mythology.
- of, relating to, or denoting an original that has been imitated.

Or the bible would have had more similarities to Call of Duty than the crazed ramblings of tribal desert nomads.

in Alpha Centauri I, CEO of Morgan Industries, used cheap buggies with rockets filled with nerve gas to attack cities of opponents/other factions to reduce their population and to give me even bigger economical advantage.

Without their industrial base my elite corporate shock troops could conquer their depopulated cities and destroy their pitifull resistance to my new capitalistic world order.

using teutonic elite knights in mediveal 2 to cut down peasant uprisings ? easy peasy
