Donald Trump did in fact win the election.
Why did the Democratic Party insiders choose this clown? You'd think they'd have learned their lesson after rigging it for Hillary.

It's a speech to the base, what do you expect? It's not like tons of people aren't already questioning the legitimacy of Trump's win. That's what happens when you have:
    • an electoral/popular split, in which the Electoral College shirked its responsibility; and
    • an election influenced by the Russians, in which the electoral victor won by narrow margins in several key states.
We need a Politifact meter that says "Arguable".

As an aside, if Trump wants to deport someone, why doesn't he go after people who shoot video portrait instead of landscape? :D

    Popular Vote
    Hillary Clinton - 65,853,516 (48.5%)
    Donal Trump - 62,984,825 (46.4%)

    Electoral Votes
    Donald Trump - 306
    Hillary Clinton - 232

HRC received 2,868,691 more votes than trump.

She lost the election because those 2,868,691 more votes weren't distributed favorably.

    Tant pis pour elle.

According to your own numbers, Trump got 74 more votes than Hillary. (The other numbers are meaningless)

They aren't meaningless ... they just aren't the final way the election is determined. The election is determined by how those numbers are distributed. The distribution is meaningless without enough votes. So both come into play.

Total numbers ARE completely meaningless with the current system so stop crying. Plus she needed 3 million illegal votes to pad that stat. ;)

As you said, they did not learn a lesson.
    Fine by me :D

She lost because New York and California aren't the centres of the universe. She got blown out on the electoral college which is how elections are decided.

Careful now. History shows that a minority can often rule a country successfully; but when it completely loses sight of the wishes of the majority, that's how revolutions start. Trump won the election fair and square; but if the Republicans continue to rule as if they have the favor of most of the people in the country, they're in for a rude awakening, one way or another...

You I don't under stand how elections work. This may be the root of your consternation. There was no split.

In that case, I expect him to retract the wink. ;)

    You may be right.

Oh there certainly was a split. But I would argue that the national popular vote isn't the Electoral College's concern. Their only concern is assigning electors according to their state's popular vote.

It's all Biden fault. He should've ran. Russians didn't convince one person to vote for Trump over crooked Hillary.

Oh come on. Out of 62,984,825 votes you don't think there was one person influenced by Russia's efforts?

That just isn't a reasonable position to take.

Claim that we can't know how many people were influenced and just leave it at that. It's not like we're not going to run the election again.

There could be no split because there was no national or state popular election held.
