Cantaloupe guy is at it again. Not just the evil gays, but everyone living together are going straight to somewhere other than heaven, according to Rep Steve King, Republican.

I wonder if he eschews shellfish and wearing clothes of mixed cloth, too?

Does it hurt to be this stupid?

Whether or not ANY person goes to "Heaven" is entirely up to "God".

    Nobody else.

    Just the big guy.

There are lots of Democrats that believe that you must not live together in sin too. There isn't a political party that has a lock on religion.

Based on their surfeit of vehement protestations, I would guess that applies to four fifths of the party (males, at least – and more than half the females seem to be "tops").

The Repubs certainly have a lock on the most stupid remarks. Perhaps you can come up with a recent quote by a Dem?

And we'll discuss about the bigotry of those Democrats as soon as they say something similar. Meanwhile...

There is a difference between sarcasm/wrong context/mistake and the bigotry that many republicans spur out.

Probably because this jackwagon sits on the following comittees:

    Committee assignments

    • Appropriations
    • Business and Labor
    • Commerce
    • Judiciary
    • Oversight Budget (Vice Chairman)
    • State Government (Chair)
So someone with such a thought process, whether valid or disingenuous, has a direct impact of almost every part of American society. So yes, I don't think there is a problem critiquing this *******.

Seriously? Virtually anything that comes out of the mouths of Nancy Pelosi or Debbie Wasserman-Schultz would easily qualify. Let's add in Alan Grayson for the trifecta.
