Totally dumb question but is the antenna the metal band?

    Sorry I'm kinda clueless, looked up diagrams but couldn't really figure out where the antenna is.

    And here I thought it was just because of hysterical media coverage and consumers not understanding how cell phones work....

    No, not completely. How much do you want to bet that Apple will in some way calm the media by fixing the over-hyped "antennagate"?
