Is the Touch screen supposed to be as good as the iPhone screen?

Aright, so if it's the same, does it mean if my iPod Touch's screen isn't as nice as an iPhone's screen, I can get it replaced?

That's between you and Apple. They seem to be pretty lax on their quality control for these things.

Always try calling by phone first, so you have an extra try, you don't want to try returning an item to the same person twice. If they say no over the phone with what you described to them, you can always call again later with a worse case scenario (to get an estimate on what is classified as returnable).

If nothing works, get a camera and blow torch the sucker, then say the screen was faulty! :D
