iPod touch Touchscreen help?

Seems I'm having problems moving the items on screen. When I try and move my fingers up or down I will actually select a song/video etc, instead of move the items to look through.

This is happening more and more. Seems the touchscreen is a little too sensitive. I've tried different methods, but nothing is helping.

Anyone else experiencing this?

have you tried a restore? definitely the 1st thing to try

This is something im concerned about actually. When I showed my mates the touch online, to make them jealous, the main thing they think will happen is that when your looking on a website and move it up and down does it not ever accidently select something on the screen? And how do you actually select something...
I need to be sure they will have egg in their faces after Ive said Apple are genius at things like that and it wont happen!

I don't think a restore is going to work. I believe the way its acting is normal. I was just hoping that it wasn't so sensitive, that it will select something when I don't want it to.

Anyone else experiencing this?
