    Prison industrial/militarized police complex. The more ******** they can pull like this, the more profit comes into the companies who own the police and legal system.

    Nothing new. Same thing went on in 1988-1994, to my personal knowledge. I was doing casual VFR flying in a 172, mostly around Brewster County, Texas. Customs regularly hassled pilots, even though we hadn't come out of Mexico. And back then, Customs had no legal authority over domestic-only flights.
