Traktor LE not working correctly

I recently bought a Numark Total control and it came with a soundcard and a disk of Traktor LE. I installed Traktor LE and ran the program. When I go to set the input and output settings and hit apply, the program quits. This is just unnacceptable as I paid a lot of money for this setup. Anything I should do?
