Transmission Question

In Transmission, can you delete the .torrent file after it has been loaded into Transmission, or will it mess up the download?

you can trash the original torrent file after it has been added into transmission with no effect on the download. Under transmission preferences, go to the transfers tab and you can even get transmission to automatically delete the original .torrent file by checking "Trash original torrent files"

i just installed transmission in leopard and it seems to be working fine, except the transmission preferences won't open for me. I'd like to change the save directory of data files and have transmission trash the torrent file after loading it... any ideas?

Never mind, it opens now..
