perfect. And they still won't cop to getting the picture, either. They won't pick apart one article like Obama's press office used to do, which was pick up the phone and say hey this assertion, not the case, and this here is BS; this is, like put it in an editorial etc etc. Nope. TheDon gets out his tweetbox and announces to the planet that the entire Fourth Estate is all fake news all the time.

hello, white house? blanket-bombing the free press didn't help you in the first place and is still not giving you what you need, which is competence and focus on your job

I love that Priebus can't event get through his debunking without choking on his own words.

I will never stop laughing over Priebus tweeting pre-canned and suitably candidate-neutral praise on the qualifications of the entire 2016 GOP field during what turned out to be a grade-school style food fight in the South Carolina primary debate.

If you accept that that's what a national committee chair must be prepared to do --mind the cosmetics, and doctor history in the making so there will be always a sane quote to look back on in the chaos of any significant event in any campaign-- then he was doing a great job. Otherwise you have to figure he was taking some great drugs.

This is the stuff that turns ordinary people off sometimes about politics. It's like "why are you bothering to paper this farce over?" The event in question might not even figure much into how a voter votes, but he looks at what's going on in the debate on TV, and if he sees that tweet from Priebus, the only sane reaction is incredulity. We're not blind, Reince. We see these guys up there calling each other flat liars... meanwhile Priebus is tweeting about how GOP field is coming up with solutions. And here we are now, with a flat liar in the office! So we aren't sure what debate Priebus must have been watching, but the one we saw was for real.

Exactly. The irony of some politicians arguing against political correctness, but failing to every take a stand against something even if it means they will be unpopular or lose favor.
