Full URL for those too timid to fool around with mystery meat URLs that could host malware:

(seems to be the reason for the clickbait in the headline, sounds similar to various snippies Trump himself has said for other issues.)

LOL... so Trump paid pennies on the dollar... Isn't this exactly what shafted, I mean SCREWED, former contractors said? It's really easy to become richer when you can get away with paying contractors pennies on the dollar.

No wonder Chris Christie and Trump are best pals.

What I can't figure out is how Trump thinks he would apply this business strategy to the U.S. government. Sure, the U.S. government could default on all its bond obligations. Look how well that has worked for {long list of countries mired in economic stagnation for decades}.

The U.S. is, actually, the wealthiest large country ever. And yet, Trump and his followers think the sky is falling because the President's middle name is Hussein and the next President might be a woman. The very last thing I want to do is apply Trump's tried-and-true business methodology to running the U.S. government.

Bloomberg made me laugh when he said "Trump says he wants to run the nation like he's running his business — God help us!

There are different ways to default, one can default by printing the money to pay off the Treasuries.

Gotta inflate our way out of our unfunded liabilities somehow.

Or, we could raise taxes on the wealthy to fund the liabilities, like we did after WWII. Worked very well until the first oil shock hit in 1973.
