Trump has just changed everything in US politics (polls not closed, but 244 for Trump).
Decades of studying US trends and demographics and how politics works and how to win the White House has just gone out the window.

Brexit is the same, everyone expected UK to stay in, they got out.

Silvio Berlusconi was not expected to win, he did, and was in office 10 years.

Apple removed the earphone jack from the iPhone 7 (ok, ok, levity there)

    Whats next?

Note to Hillary voters: if someone as distasteful as Trump easily defeats your woman, maybe she wasn't so hot of a candidate to begin with.

What's next? Run a candidate that appeals to voters would be a good start. 4 years to find one, don't even think about running Clinton again.

Nothing has really changed, except for some reality check for Dems, if they gonna shout and scream like kids all day long as soon as someone show up with a different opinion and call them bigoted, racist, sexist, jadda jadda, Dems will obviously not live in a reality where there is this kind of huge support for Trump.

Hopefully everyone, and especially Dems have learnt that TALKING and coming up with a collective plan for the future is much better than screaming and yelling at Reps.

Dems created Trump, Dems basically elected Trump with their ****** and elitistic attitude.

Democrats should change their tone and they will win the next election with a landslide, 100% sure of that.

If Americans pick trump it shows how little we have advanced from racisim bigotry and the hate of women and minorities. We will be the pathetic laughing stock of the world. Hillary is a politician we don't expect perfect from them.

People don't change politic direction, its the candidates that rouse and rally to their cause.

    Says someone in Sweden...

Trump is a creation of people pissed off at the Political Elites.
Trump is an outsider (like Cruz and Sanders).

When Trump talks about "Draining the swamp", he talks about Republicans too.

I bet Kanye West is in seventh heaven right now. That's exactly what he wanted all along. After 4 years of nightmare, Americans will be so desperate for another change or anyone but Trump that they will give Kanye all of their votes.

    Epic trolling from Kanye.

Every time I tell people I was planning to vote Trump, they tell me I'm racist. If that's the only thing you can say about the whole election maybe that's why Trump is probably going to win?!

Anyways my opinion of Hillary is she is basically a socialist. Trump isn't that great, but his views are more favorable for me.

    LMAO...

We'll see how long this populist delusion persists when the egomaniac actually steps into office.

    You understand less.

17 Republican candidates, and the one chosen (Trump) never held a public office.

This is the CONSERVATIVE group, so your argument has no merit.

Now, I do agree that the Dem's failed in a vision to counter Trump later on.

I wonder how Trump will govern, he will have no choice but to bring the other side in. Half of the country is still pissed and can Trump bring them in. Obama couldn't do it. Can Trump?

Your argument is about ready to die. Once Trump wins, your points become invalid. We speak our minds, and we put Americans first in this country. Dems hate minorities and women, thats why they insist that they're "oppressed".

Basically everyone can become the next president now as long as they either do what Trump did or the opposite based on how Trump's term goes. Doesn't matter who you are, it's just about saying whatever the public wants to hear.
