"Vote for Pence. Because it's the same thing."

Especially if the rumors that he's just going to let his VP do everything and take all the credit are true.

Well Trump is desperate. Also - it was reported (not vouching for accuracy) that he was looking to empower his VP with pretty much everything the President SHOULD be doing, and he just wanted to sit back and be "CEO" or the "Chariman" of the USA.

Could it also be an indication that he plans on leaving his post after elected? That people should be voting for who would succeed him?

Eh, doesn't mean the man won't get a twitchy finger every time a world leader calls him a clown.

While both candidates are likely going to sign the TPP (Trump more or less allows the inference since Pence is for it), I reckon Clinton's version will be more civilized in approach. Assuming it gets signed.

Probably just smoothing over that he and Pence have not seen eye to eye on endorsing Ryan.

You better start adjusting to reality sooner rather than later.

Is Trump announcing something here? He's stepping down?

If either party's Presidential Candidate would indeed withdraw leaving the VP candidate to carry on, that party would win by a large margin. This is what is wrong with American politics.

    Vote for Pence?

VP's are typically the most irrelevant politician in Washington, disappearing for months, if not years at a time.

Nothing about Trump has been typical. Or rational. Or intelligent.
I don't care so long as this lunatic is forced to wear a straight jacket and mouth gag for his entire presidency. Probably a good idea to put padding on the walls of the Oval Office as well.
