President Donald Trump's first job-approval rating is in, and they are the lowest an incoming president has ever received.

Only 45% of Americans approve of Trump's job performance over the first three days of his presidency, according to a Gallup survey released Monday. It's the first time a president has received an initial approval rating under 50% in the history of the poll, which dates back to Dwight Eisenhower's first term in 1953.

Another 45% of Americans disapproved of Trump's performance — also the highest initial rating in the poll's history. The last 10% had not yet formed an opinion.

I can already hear him, KA and Spicer spinning this. I can also predict that this thread will be met with the usual suspects who talk about polls and the election.

    Have at it!

All this Trump-nonsense is blown out of proportion and starts annoying me.

Even here in Germany you get Trump "News" every day, although NOTHING of interest happened.
Trump said this, Trump said that and when you hear it 2 minutes later, there is nothing new. Trump said something he probably said 200 times during the last 12 months, how interesting.

With all due respect. You don't live here and it's not just what Trump says. It's what he has been doing and who his appointments are. Hardly nonsense.

And of those 45% whatever number of people that represents, (a 100, thousand, ten thousand?) half of those have their fingers crossed he does not turn out to be the nut job they fear he could be.

So his approval rating went up. Tell me how that's a bad thing? Nice to see you're finally on board with MAGA, comrade.

You expect me to go research? :p Are you saying that Trump likes the idea of unions and supports them and their right to collective bargain? And they in turn love him?

    Lol, can't link youtube now.
Yep, they were very happy yesterday after the meeting. I was surprised by the triumphal tone they had and they spoke of Trump in a very good way. Shocking, but it happened.
Apparently Trump is working for real, while we focus on Barron and idiocies.

It according to the alternative facts he is at 100%

Personally I don't like a lot of the people he nominated, but I don't have major problems with the executive orders he has taken so far. The one about the ACA is probably the worst, but it's mostly symbolic anyway.
