...he didn't say everyone would like how he helped to do it and wether or not it'd ONLY be in America. :D

    http://www.forbes.com/sites/maggiem...ceo-vows-to-hire-10000-refugees/#53c694706846

"There are more than 65 million citizens of the world recognized as refugees by the United Nations, and we are developing plans to hire 10,000 of them over five years in the 75 countries around the world where Starbucks does business," he wrote. "And we will start this effort here in the U.S. by making the initial focus of our hiring efforts on those individuals who have served with U.S. troops as interpreters and support personnel in the various countries where our military has asked for such support."

Seriously though, this is obviously a positive thing. I just think it's funny that they are going to do this as a RESPONSE ("Hitting Back At Trump's Executive Order") to Trump's executive order, instead of taking the initiative to do so, just to take positive action.

Trump: Helping to create jobs world wide, one spiteful CEO at a time. :p

Hillary is old news, I'm sorry you can't get over the election but the GOP and The Great Tangerine wholly own this government's policies and actions now.

Sorry, I tend to laugh at a good joke for quite some time after it's been told. Hillary's candidacy is NO exception.

She was terrible in every sense of the word. Now, deflecting to her isn't going to work as the country clearly starts revolting against the absurd policies this administration has been pushing.

Ha ha ha haaaaaa, did you jist say "deflecting". YOU?! Noooooo. Say it isn't SO!

Anyway, I have no need to deflect, as I get informed before I join in on the hysteria.

I'm not sure what hysteria you're talking about, I'm just stating I've seen you post in threads plenty of times about Clinton, as if she's relevant in any way. That's deflection, it's getting old and it's getting called out.

Of coarse I've posted about Clinton. Like I said, it's hard to let go of a good joke.

So, master of deflecting, where is your infinite wisdom when it comes to the other posts on Hillary? Hmmmm...

You changed "in threads", to "in this thread" in an attempt to keep a lost argument going.

Haha! Uh ohhh! Caught red handed on the back pedaling. Credibility lost.

Ok....you're asking me to go into other threads and dig up your previous posts. Now I understand wtf you've been talking about. You however, see a grand conspiracy in my wording as if I made a concerted effort to change the meaning of all this back and forth: the Clinton crap is getting tiring.

Credibility? We're on the internet and you have no idea who I am. I don't give two ***** what you think about my "credibility" on a technology forum ;)

On a side note, you've essentially wastelanded your own thread by having it consist solely of this back and forth.....

I didn't ask you to do anythign. Now you're putting words in my mouth.

Thread can go in the trash for all I care. I rarely post threads, but when I do, it's for someone to read and move on, unless they want to respond. It's not dependant on the hopes that people respond.

Waste away, for all I care. But hey, I DID male a new best friend. If it weren't for this thread, you may have not called me "buddy" in the other one.

I'll send you an invite to my next birthday party. I want a power ranger toy. Don't forget.

Domestic employment in some sectors began increasing--albeit modestly--as soon as Trump was elected. Mostly, it's a wait and see deal until after Yellen raises the Fed rate in March. No telling how bad that will hurt the economy.

Wait, hopefully not the new "let's reboot anything and everything" version of power rangers. They're going to tank that franchise hard. I'll see if I can find you the Green Ranger with the little harmonica dagger. :)

Thanks, Starbucks, for promising to hire 10,000 refugees for barista jobs soon to be replaced by automation.

So the Starbucks CEO wants to provide them jobs in their own country thus negating one reason for them to become refugees....
    Trump should thank him.

This CEO is about as transparent as you can get. Seems like his views are simply to say the opposite of Trump. This guy isn't too hard to figure out. But if he wants to help refugees in their homeland, even if he thinks he's doing it to hurt Trump, he's actually helping the cause so good for him.

HOWEVER, if he goes all "affirmative action" here in the United States and hires refugees over Americans I think he is underestimating the backlash.

As fake as Trump himself. He should have hired Chris Evans to paint the inauguration too, then it would have looked better.

He's still riding on Obama's economic coat tails. Just wait until the rubes get a load of his 'economic mastery', and all its effects.

I'd prefer he simply stick to hiring the most qualified candidate while not discriminating based on race, sex, age, etc.
