Is Mr. Donald Trump following in Christ's footsteps?

I ask, because he seems to be championing the poor and down-trodden. I also think that his strong patriotism shows a great respect for the American people, and therefore humanity. This is diametrically opposed to the US establishment today, which is in sop to big business and is only interested in corporate profits.

I haven't been following the news much, so I may be misled; on the other hand, my brief snapshot may reflect the essence of the truth. He seems to be attracting support, which suggests his message is getting home. Hitler was very popular with the Germans, too, though, so if he becomes President, I hope his Presidency is informed more by Christ than by Hitler.

trump is for himself. he will say whatever will make him popular he lies freely and even when proven wrong will not admit it. how christ like is that? 4 marriages and many failed businesses is not exactly christ like. is he out feeding the poor caring for the sick clothing the poor giving them a place to sleep? my dog is more christ like he loves everyone with all his little self.

Donald Trump has risked it all...
    Using HIS Money.

    He speaks his mind.
    He has incredible courage
    He has unshakable conviction.

Traits that strike fear and outright panic amongst establishment politicians like Hillary and others.

Funded by Big Oil, Big Banks and the Wall Street Robber Barrons, Hillary and Bubba have Billions hidden away to fund the Lies, Hypocrisy and Deceitful practices they use to suppress the poor and keep them dependent on big government.

With everything to lose... The Clinton Machine is shifting into _Full Attack Mode_ to insure Hillary takes the White House.

Unions, Foreign Countries, the wealthiest Hollywood Execs and other others count on Hillary to win, keeping the Power and Wealth exactly where it is. She's been too successful ducking and dodging to learn how to speak the truth and honestly care about others this late in her life.

Why give up the highly successful and nefarious business she's currently profiting from...

Man your fiction is even worse than what James Patterson cranks out. :p

Trump speaks his mind, yes. Leaving aside courage since I don't know and there's a fine line between that and foolhardiness sometimes.

But Trump has unshakable conviction just 12 to 18 hours at a time. Plus when he flips it's because someone caught him out. During the primaries when Hillary moved her own goalposts it's been because Sanders gave her a good reason to do so, and explained it to her in the debates...

Trump better hope someone puts up ol' third party Cruz to run with him against Clinton, thus sparing Trump's solo embarrassment. Otherwise she'll beat him by a landslide instead of just handily beating them both and the Greens or whoever else is foolish enough to get into the "other" 5% this year. Clinton, 65-15-15-5.

Trump the Christian will pray for you all and he will forgive your transgressions, even the flotsam that dirtied the sidewalk in Chicago and that prevented a godly event from taking place.

It's so much easier to say "Trump 2016" than "Racist, Sexist, bigotry"

With blood on Hillary's hands and that white stuff Bubba deposits on his wenches, her appeal to those of her ilk is unmistakable.

I don't have a horse in this race.

Freeing me to opine at will.

The first time in my adult life I'll go to the polls and deliberately vote for all the other important issues. Presidential candidates... I'll leave those boxes blank with a smirk.

    They're all dolts

These questions are for you given that you're an outsider and somehow came to this line of thinking. How exactly is he a champion for the poor and down? What can you show that he has done to be this in your mind.

How does showing patriotism and respect for American people equate to the same view towards all humanity? Is it Christ like to talk about hitting people and throwing people out who disagree with you? Would Christ really be scared of refugees over a different religion and prevent them sanctuary?

Trump is the epitome of big business and is not scared to let everyone know that's exactly how he became the billionaire he says he is. Very few people become billionaires without being part of the big business world, Trump isn't one of those people. Would Christ approve of starting to build homes, charge people who wish to get first choice at said homes and then pull out of the project and leaving those that paid with nothing, which includes keeping the money people paid in? Does that really sound the opposite of big business and being humane in your mind?

I find myself nearly in agreement on the challenges of the ballot box this fall. But I'll probably vote for Jill Stein rather than leave it blank up top. I sometimes leave my ballots blank at local level when the incumbent runs unopposed, that really annoys me. "Here, vote for me because, I'm it." No thanks. When the roads aren't plowed right in winter I wish I had a bumper sticker sez "Don't Blame Me I Left Town Supervisor Blank".

Clearly, you have not been paying attention. Trump is no Christian. His religious pals are frauds like Joel Olsteen. He has not championed the poor; in fact, he has said Americans are paid too much. Probably why he hires foreign workers instead of Americans. He's attracting support from a plurality of Republican voters; his unfavorability ratings are the highest for any candidate ever, even Hillary. Trump has championed violence at his rallies. Trump is a racist and bigot. Trump is a liar. It's not uncommon for him to say something and say the opposite in the same speech minutes later. Trump is not a follower of Christ, he's a follower of his own narcissistic self.
