He takes flip-flopping to a new level.
Snake oil salesman.
Raise your hands if you want equal time clause and comparison videos for other candidates to be made!
Well of course they all contradict themselves. That's what politicians do. However one of the big reasons people claim to like this buffoon for is that he's "not a politician". He's "honest".
Yet, with all the prominence and emphasis on Trump, which includes the OP as a delicious form of tasty irony*, other candidates are being ignored. Equal time clause is requested or should be. And, yes, doing a search on "Johnson flip flops" leads to some unusual image results along with issues he has flip-flopped on...
* I promise never to write like that ever again...
Equal time doesn't even apply to private groups who are creating videos - it wasn't the press.
And we thought Mitt Romney was a weathervane...
Awaiting the typical rebuttal post from the righties...
Trump, his own worst enemy.
Loved the first bit on Iraq. At least he sounded uncertain if he thought it was the right thing to do.
But what's more fascinating is how young he looks on some comments but then is older when the flip side appears. Are people incapable of changing opinions ever in life? Same goes for other candidates. This 30 second sound byte clip show is what's wrong with America: no critical thinking skills, just pride over decades' apart sound bytes -- as contextless as video recordings that end up selling a contextless, biased, or false image for no legitimate reason...
The great thing about the net, you can pretty much look up every one of those comments to see if there is any missing context. Id be curious to see what you find in regards to missing or misleading context. It should also be noted that some of those views he is shown to have had vs now were no more then a year or two ago. What is also funny is that for someone with and I quote, "I have world's best memory", how quickly he forgot about this or that position and so forth.
As for changing views themselves, if everyone else including Clinton can be called out for a social view change, then the same goes for Trump.
Oh look, another hour, another Trump bashing thread by one of the usual suspects. So predictable....
When you can't talk about the subject, change it.
Curious if you feel the same way about the Clinton bashing threads and the usual suspects that start them?
Where would one look to find your criticism of Hillary bashers doing the same thing? Asking for a friend.
It is hard to keep up with all the times Trump causes controversy. MR-PRS is falling behind.
Funny, though that same complication can probably be made for many other politicians.
I don't get the sense Trump ever has a clue what he's talking about, so this is no surprise.
I posted this in a thread too
Well duh. Sorry for stepping on your original topic. I've asked the mods to merge them.
No worries... Just wanted to note that I saw/loved the video too
On everything? How does one even know what they are voting for with that many changes? He's a shape shifting chameleon! And every bit the politician.
So.....you can't defend against all these flip flops....noted.
In terms of heroes / villains, does that make Hillary, Loki ?
Please don't shoot the messenger. This is more like Trump bashing Trump.
when Clinton flips
liberals say she is "Growing" & "learning" from her mistakes.
I prefer the original good villain!
The birth of Mr. Freeze
The death of Mr. Freeze:
Fair enough! But I'm not defending her flip-flops. One of the reasons I liked Bernie better was because Clinton seemed to me to be artificially latching onto Bernie's progressive creds.
I do think she's needlessly dishonest. There's nothing wrong, for example, with saying your views on gay marriage evolved. Bill said it. Barack said it. But she's pretending she always believed it. Thats just stupid.
In any case, going by the propositions that both candidates are offering right now, I'll still take Clinton because the things Trump believes in are incredibly dangerous.
