Tweetbot links broken? tries to open t.co

Hi,

if I click any link within Tweetbot for macOS it tries to open t.co links, which do not resolve!

Why does it happen? A few weeks ago everything was fine, but now Tweetbot start making crazy things? Can someone help? If I right-click and open the link it works without any issues. Only direct click doesn't work??!

Try this:
defaults write com.tapbots.TweetbotMac OpenURLsDirectly YES

That was the first link I found and thing I tried. It didn't work though (assume it's for an older version of Tweetbot as the page was from 2016 I think).

The second Google result let me to this page.

Still broken for me and they're (Tapbots) not responding to requests concerning this issue.

T.co links not working could be two things: t.co is down in some region, which happens frequently, or your current DNS has issues resolving. Try changing your DNS to one of Google or Cloudflare, and see if it still happens. This problem went away for me when I changed DNS. So that's 8.8.4.4 or 8.8.8.8 or 1.0.0.1
