But apparently, trump is backing away from his campaign promises in a concessionary move to Palastinians in the hope of forwarding the effort of peace ...
I'm going to give trump a "thumbs up" over this decision. If only his other foreign policy moves were as considered as this one appears to be.

The Embassy should stay in Tel-Aviv and the consulate in Jerusalem. That's the perfect balance to not being biased too much to the Israeli side. I lived there for a number of years, back when things weren't as bad as they are today, and most Palestinians (Israeli and West Banker's) don't want the Embassy to be moved. It would be a slap in the face of the peace process, (such as it is now). I would posit that most Israelis, (other than the Netanyahu zionists) don't want it moved, either.

Leave them there, fine. But allow the Consulate to deal with Israelis.

Another example of a hair-brained campaign pledge Trump has broken. Thankfully.

If only his foreign policy moves were about doing nothing we'd all be fine.

Maybe it's time to hand over another Nobel Peace Prize to an American president. This time not because they expect him to work for peace, but more in the hope he will do nothing at all.

In other words they told him it was moved but didn't do anything.

It's a very complicated process. Note: Trump visited the Palestinian Authority in good faith. I'm very interested on how a business man can create a peaceful solution to a crisis that has been around since the end of WW2. Let him try and solve the problem. He's a fresh perspective from traditional politicians. Wouldn't it be crazy if Donald Trump brought peace to the Middle East? I mean really?!?!?

It ain't gonna happen. The man's dumb as a stump, and clueless when it comes to foreign policy, among a multitude of subjects.

That's a bit insulting to tree stumps. At least they can be recycled into wood chips or compost.

No, he didn't kill it. He simply withdrew the US from it as a participant and made us look like idiots to the rest of the world. Yeah, the Accord wasn't that great a deal. But, it was a step in the right direction. He's going backwards and won't even admit that he's a climate denier. He's a fool and a coward.

Ok. It's not dead. He just got the US off that Titanic before it hits the ice berg. Thanks Mr. Trump.

Yes, it would be totally crazy. No one in their right mind trusts anything that comes out of that mans mouth. Diplomacy is more than building walls around golf courses.

If only he knew that he was actually in the Middle East, that would be a good start. Epic gathering, with the king being a wise wise man. I mean... listen to that speech. Goooooo Sharia! A far more tolerant world!

God what an idiot... and his speech writers are insane.

Those two are quite similar. Netanyahu might actually be a bigger jackass than Trump though.

They will if they are still part of that stupid Paris Accord. More specifically, just like the real Titanic, most of the rich people will escape and the poor people will go down with that ship.

Sounds to me like he's negotiating with Bibi over which he wants more, the location moved or a move towards peace. Imagine that, a conversation / negotiation.

The very poorest nations will need a subsidy. And then they can buy more American products.
