I used to use a windows computer and when I wanted to download something with u torrent I would just click it and u torrent would open up with a dialogue box now when I download something it goes straight to downloads folder and I have to open it in utorrent manually.

I have the correct settings with u torrent how do I tell SAFARI to automatically open .torrent files?

thanks for the help.

Due to security concerns, Safari isn’t going to open these automatically. There’s not really anything you can do to change that.

With the app Transmission, you can set it to monitor your downloads folder, so all torrent files are automatically loaded.
