I've seen a fair number of videos of Farage. Nothing namby-pamby about the guy. He's up front and open for telling truth and fact. Fox is lucky or wise to have him. Helluva good man.

Awesome news. Gets Nigel away from the uk and he'll fit in well with nationalists and racists over there. His party has failed over here and he's hungry for publicity.

Tells the truth about his alcoholism as well?

I don't believe America has any more racists than we do actually. The percentages are almost exactly the same.

I am extremely curious about what happens in the Stoke by-election.

For TV talk, as long as he's not boozed up while on-camera, being an alky is irrelevant.

I am a US citizen living in Scotland. But you're right, the English can keep Farage if they want. As long as he stays down south.... ;)

It would be more entertaining, if he did get all boozed up before he showed up for work, and did things like smack the ladies in the office on the ass, no wait, I just described Roger Ailes.

    Sarcasm, right?

"Truth and fact" are not something even he would claim in his recent Brexit spoutings. Source:

Glad to see the back of him.

I suppose it is fair to say that he is consistent in his views. However, he's a politician and will try to get his way by hook or crook. Farage and the people who pushed for Brexit have been caught out making massive lies (like saying that leaving the EU would give the NHS £350 million a year, which Farage backtracked on 1 hour after the Brexit outcome as a 'mistake'). Trust him if you wish, but he is far from an honest broker and he is not well respected by most in the UK and Europe because of his dishonesty.

Nigel Farage is probably the most successful politician in post-war European history.

Well, with FOX taking over Sky, there is the alarming possibility he'll stay.
    --- Post Merged, Jan 21, 2017 ---
Huh? How many seats in the UK Parliament does UKIP have, even after the Leave campaign won Brexit? If I am not mistaken, it's 1 out of 650 (source). In contrast, the SNP has 54 (same source), so maybe you should consider Nicola Sturgeon.

His goal is to dismantle the EU. Brexist was a success, France and Italy will be next. He singled-handedly refactored an entire continent. That's pretty damn successful.

You're counting chickens before they're hatched. Mainland Europe is different from the UK, and it's a bit premature to say the EU is being dismantled. Also, Farage might have very well triggered the breakup of the UK, if Scotland goes independent and the Good Friday Agreement fails because of Brexit. How is that 'successful'? Farge's approval ratings have never reached 50% in the UK (see source). Besides, Brexit wasn't so much Farage's victory as Cameron's idiotic blunder.

The next vote for independence will probably succeed. That's the market bet I'll look into.

Merkel, Thatcher and Atlee are all much more successful.
    --- Post Merged, Jan 21, 2017 ---
Possibly, but that's not really down to the actions of Farage. More the EU overreached and was incompetent.

I didn't suggest America had more racists. I said he'll fit in with that crowd as he did here. I'll be glad to see the back of the cancerous moron.
