I had to set up a new ID on my iMac because of some issues and I was able to get the new ID to open my Photos library. It went through all the syncing (you know uploading to iCloud) but now says there are over 1700 photos that couldn't be uploaded. However all these photos are already in my iCloud library because they all show up on our other linked devices and at iCloud.com.

If I follow the online directions (export originals, delete from the Photos Library and then re-import them) I would assume I will lose all my tags, adjustments and none of these photos will be put back into the albums/folders where I had put them.

Any suggestions? I guess I could set up a new library and have it download all the photos/videos but with over 80K files, I would rather not go through that step.
