Hey everyone...
Safari has changed fonts on me; some, but not all, fonts on websites are now presented in some clunky cartoonish font. This is mostly fonts at smaller sizes. I've checked my preferences and the fonts specced there are the usual, Times & Courier. The only new thing is that I recently installed Pith Helmet. There seems to be no mention of any kind of font issues witrh PH, and an uninstall of it has made no difference. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks!

Do you have any extra fonts activated in Font Book or any other font management software? Sometimes Safari gets all wacked out on my Mac if I have certain fonts activated.

edit - never mind - I see your problem is solved.

me too!

I am having this same issue! it's driving me nuts! I have checked that the font preferences are correct, i have reset safari, etc... it won't stop... somebody make it stop!

:)
thanks for any help!

well...

I know i just added a post, but i'm just realizing... it's not just Safari, but also Firefox that is changing the font! Does this clue help anyone solve this mystery?

thanks!

Solved

Hi,

It's happen to me also today, try this way, go to your font book & removed arial font not arial black or narrow..then reinstall back the arial font..download from somewhere or copy from other computer...after that..restart your safari
