This guy lied about the KKK being "confirmed" on campus. Why wouldn't he lie about racial slurs? He's a gay black man who is the president of the student body. This university also had the first gay major athlete. Really sounds like a place that hates blacks and homosexuals.
All being president of the student body shows is that the students aren't racist.

Perfectly happy to accept that if he lied about the KKK he might have lied about other things.

That's Clayton Head you're talking about.

Small wonder there was a push to reject the media from the public space on campus.

Clayton Head, an emerging race hustler, is at the center of Missou. He's perhaps the first one to claim "someone called him a racist term." His latest is a claim that the KKK has been spotted around campus. Hey, one lie worked! Let's keep it going....

Per the written piece: "Head has a long past history as a ‘social justice warrior’. In his post about the racial slur, he makes it very clear he is a Black Lives Matter supporter, and the post is meant to be about making you feel uncomfortable. In October, he gave a talk on ‘intersectionality’ and the Black Lives Matter movement. He is from Chicago and was an intern for Rahm Emanuel."

He also lied about "working with the National Guard." I imagine he would be very happy to employ that use of force if he could.

I agree that coordinating large protests over a guy driving by and hurling a slur is overkill. But if it's commonplace, or if school organizations are practicing some sort of racial/personal profiling (not allowing black students or gays to participate, etc), then that is worth saying something about.
If is indeed the operative word.

So far, it appears that on a campus of 35,000 students, there have allegations of racism against ... 2, or .00005% percent.

The new Missouri president should slice that percentage down below .00004%, or his/her head should roll, too.

It has begun.

http://news.yahoo.com/why-ithaca-college-students-want-184058430.html

On Monday, University of Missouri system president Tim Wolfe resigned after students held high-profile protests demanding his ouster for his failure to address an atmosphere of intense racial hostility on campus. On Wednesday, student demonstrators at Ithaca College in upstate New York signaled they could be heading down the same path of confrontation with school officials.

Hundreds of students gathered on campus as part of a "solidarity walkout" to express support for the protesters at the University of Missouri, and to highlight tension over allegations of racist incidents at Ithaca.

The demonstration, organized primarily by a student group called People of Color at Ithaca College, was organized to highlight "all the injustices students of color face on this campus and other colleges nationally," according to the Facebook description of the event.

"With University of Missouri's president stepping down, we demand [Ithaca College president Tom] Rochon to do the same, as it is vital to fight against both covert and overt racism in all places of education and empowerment," the group wrote.

As much as social media gets their word out, social media will also shame them ( if possible) and be thier downfall.
Huffington Post, MSNBC, and the like have already abandoned this 'news' entirely. They are trying to put as much distance from this as possible.

The fastest (liberal) flash mob in history.

Well, get ready for the new wave. We'll need to start a general University President Resigns thread because the leftists activists in college can never be appeased and their appetite is voracious.

Here's what boiling over at Ithica.

http://thinkprogress.org/education/2015/11/11/3721538/ithaca-college-racism/

And on radio, not even online yet, another President, this time at a university in California, has just resigned.

Oh, man. The chickens are coming home to roost.

I did some research on it and nobody seems to know what exactly these spoiled brats are even protesting against. All I could find were videos of hysterical girls screaming nonsense at calm professors and people snapping their fingers o_O ... and that's in Yale! Where the people who will soon run the US are groomed.
I'll be dead by then, but you guys are sooo screwed. :p

Let them sit in, die in, starve themselves. If I was president I'd applaud their commitment if one of them starved themselves. If the football team wants to protest and sit out a game that's fine as well, their scholarships will all be revoked the following day. Go back home and work at a gas station or on your daddy's cattle farm picking up ****. This idea now that we organize and protest because so and so isn't meant to feel like a special snowflake and coddled enough is funny as hell and we shouldn't bow down to the pressure.

Reaping what they sow. The silence from the elite academia crowd in PRSI is deafening.

This is an interesting argument that I could get behind. Today's young adults seem to be devolving into spoiled brats.

Raise the Voting Age to 25

The Yale **** is worse, because those Yale students will matter someday. They'll be at the top echelons of law, business, and government, making decisions that actually change your life.

Nobody who goes to the University of Missouri will ever matter, like at all. The only way they'll impact your life is if you live in Missouri. None of them will be on the Supreme Court, directing a Federal Agency, etc.

Another one bites the dust.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/claremont-mckenna-dean-resigns-following-protests-hunger-strike_56454021e4b060377348868e

The Claremont McKenna College dean of students resigned Thursday following criticism over her response to student complaints of racism.

Mary Spellman, who had been the focus of protests this week calling for her resignation, said in a statement that she was stepping down "with sadness beyond words."

Students had accused Spellman and her office of failing to effectively respond to multiple incidents of racism and hate speech in recent years at the liberal arts school's campus outside Los Angeles. At least one student had begun a hunger strike, demanding Spellman's ouster.

The activism came to a head this month after Spellman sent an email to a Latina student, Lisette Espinosa, promising to better serve students "who don’t fit our CMC mold." Spellman later apologized, but the email circulated widely and added to simmering tension. Spellman couldn't be reached for comment after her resignation.
