Hey everyone,

Since updating to iOS 26, I noticed that my personal contact in the Contacts app has 2 numbers:
  • My real number
  • An unknown number that's NOT there when I edit my contact. It's only in my contact card. So maybe it's a Siri suggestion? It also displays as a linked account when I scroll down but again, when I edit my contact, NO linked accounts show up.
It might be that the 2nd number is an old eSIM number that I had while being on vacation. But I can't seem to get rid of it. I tried swiping but it didn't work. Anyone can help me out here? Thanks!

Hey,
i have the same Problem. It shows two numbers. My real one and an unknown. I didn't even registered another Number on iCloud or my iPhone. Does anyone know how can I delete it? It this dangerous for my privacy? I mean can the owner of this number show my messages or control my device?

Thanks!

I’m on 26.2 beta 3 and I checked my contact and it had four things in there. My number and few email addresses and they all said suggestion in parentheses. Then like two seconds later it flashed and now it’s empty. Weird.

I also have an unknown phone number and email address on my contact page. It only shows on my iPhone, not on my MacBook Air. I've tried to delete both of them, but they don't appear when I go to edit. Does anyone have suggestions for removing them?

Could be a Siri suggestion. In any case you can go to Settings -> Apps -> Contacts -> Contacts Accounts. You can preview all the connected accounts there.
