Unlimited data on Verizon...how can I tether?

So I bought my iphone at full price to keep my unlimited data plan. Does anyone know of a way I could use it to tether (aside from jailbreaking) that wont cost me an additional $30 a month? If I add the tethering for $30 a month, it's unlimited (because of my grandfathered plan) vs. if I had one of the new tiered data plans, correct?

Your only options are:

1) pay 30$/month and tether unlimited carefree.

2) Jailbreak and tether under the radar and hope you don't get caught...
