How do you know if the iPhone is UNLOCKED looking at the phone out of the box?
Question is of an unboxed, used phone.

There are web sites like http://iphoneimei.info, but any indication on the iPhone Settings alone?

(perhaps Apple can be nice and add the message)

EDIT: added note this is not related to new phone.

I don't know if this will work but try putting the serial number in there and see if it says any thing about it being unlocked if it doesn't work I will try and find another way.
