I stared at it intently for 45 minutes to see if anything more interesting eventually happens. I won't spoil everyone else's fun by reporting the answer. ;)

You're evil! Now you've got all the newbies staring at their countdown screens for the next few hours so the Macrumors servers can cope with all us regulars checking back here for product updates. ;)

I guess I don't have as much time on my hands as I thought.

my Tiger order has gone from "Processing Order" to "Preparing Shipment" cool.

oh yeah, to stay on topic - cool countdown, although i don't like the way there's a slight pause every second in the countdown...

I don't seem to be experiencing that. Are you using Safari?

i've tried it on safari and it runs smoother on safari.
one of the few things that run better on safari than camino! (another topic for another thread)

For me it's running smoothly in Safari (1.3), Camino (8.3), Firefox (1.0.3), and Internet Explorer (gag). I wonder why it's doing that to yah.

Cool coutner, though it would be even better if it had hours/minutes. Still it is pretty cool. I know that I will be there at T-60 seconds...:p

Very nice, I'd like to see it formatted with colons and such for (days)/hours/minutes/seconds, 320,000 seconds makes it feel too far away, even though its under 100 hours.

Thank you for your input, I just added that feature. Check it out now. :)

Uh-oh... the pressure! Now you've got to program something really cool to happen when the timer gets to zero!

Well... something sorta cool does happen (no peaking!), but if I have time tonight, I'll try and make something even more wild. ;) And I currently have it programmed to only do the "sorta cool thing" if you're there when it reaches zero. if you go the site after the counter expires, the "sorta cool thing" won't happen.

Well, then in that case, I'll set my iCal to remind me to check!

I can't believe I actually set my iCal for this....

Still, kinda cute.

Wait, when was the last time you refreshed the site? Because I updated it with the "newer sorta cool" feature about 3 hours before 1800 CDT. So if you were watching the countdown more than three hours before it's experation, you may have missed it. You can always reset your system clock and watch it again if you like.
