Beware: Worms Turning Ahead.
Good News, I think.
I want to make sure I understand this:
The resolution does not "carry the force of law", and is therefore technically unenforceable?
Even if it were law, would it not set the state law against the federal law? If so, AFAIK the federal law would take precedence. (Nevertheless, it could set up some interesting constitutional confrontations if the feds demanded cooperation with an investigation and the Montana authorities refused to provide it.)
Whether or not Resolution 19 has any real weight behind it, it certainly speaks to the will of The People. Montana legislators are to be commended for standing up to the "PATRIOT" Act.
