Trying to get a pulse on how many people are experiencing difficulty using gestures in Beta 3. I have a XS Max and notice that it takes a few swipes to close out of an app, seems that others are having this problem too. Reddit suggested a hard reset but this did not solve the issue for me.

Yes lots of people are complaining about this, myself included. It's like they changed the entire touch engine or something. Scrolling in Safari is terrible. A few weeks ago I tried an S10 for the first time and hated it because all the scrolling behaviors didn't suit my muscle memory. That's what scrolling in Safari feels like right now, it's like I'm suddenly using a different operating system's touch system.

I doubt a hard reset would fix this, it's gotta be something intentional by Apple in Beta 3.

The same thing happened to me in beta 2 on iPad 11 so it’s not just iPhone. It’s better in beta 3 but still has issues. Just use the feedback system I did

my swiping on the home screens seems a little delayed or i have to swipe twice. It is like it isn't registering my touch. XS Max

It’s driving me crazy, you have to slowly and forcefully close the apps instead of the usual quick swipe up.

There's a revised beta 3 that I'm downloading now.. let's hope this addresses the issue.

Since it's a beta, you should log your feedback with Apple so that it gets fixed in an upcoming beta or version of iOS.

Definitely doing that before even checking forums. It sucks but it’s beta life, we soldier on. Looking forward to this process being buttery smoooooth soon.
