This is a bit of a strange problem.

I am able to connect my 60GB iPod to iTunes, and both of our shuffles. But when I connect my iPod Touch, nothing happens. It doesn't mount, doesn't sync, doesn't even charge. I am able to the USB connector for both the 60GB and the Touch.

Before, I would get this error "usb over current notice", but only when I plug in the Touch, and sometimes that doesn't even come up. Thing is, the Touch charges and works just fine in my JBL speaker.

I've done a hard reset, and everything else that doesn't involve using iTunes.

Thanks for your help, and sorry for being long winded.

Problem solved. They just replaced the iPod.

I went to the Apple store to get help from the Genius bar. I told them my problem, and when they plugged in the iPod, nothing happened on their computer either. They cleaned the port, and still nothing happened. They went to the back room, brought me a new one, and I was out of there in 15 minutes.
