Hi,

I recently upgraded one of my Macbook's to OSX Yosemite.

Another Macbook I'm signed into already had OSX Yosemite installed.

After the upgrade, I noticed there's a new icon in the dock for Google Chrome:

The icon seems to appear and disappear randomly on both the Macbooks - I'm speculating that it might have something to do with either the iCloud or Google account I'm signed into on both.

Has anybody seen this one before?

Cheers,
Victor

Looks like its in a little Dock of its own rather than the standard Dock???

I'm not a Chrome user but I suspect that might link you to Chrome on the other machine (bit like Safari links bookmarks and open tabs via iCloud)??

That's Handoff from one Mac to the other. It's a new feature of Yosemite. Basically lets you go from device to device and continue what you were doing on the other.
