So I purchased my MBP in mid-2017 with the 2.8 Ghz i7/16GB RAM/256GB SSD/Radeon 560. I've found a few logic boards from the same MBP (14,3 A1707) with the 3.1 Ghz i7/16GB/1TB SSD/560 Radeon for ~$900 (The "Configure To Order" Upgrade in 2017). Is it possible to swap the logic boards? I would like to add storage and future proof my laptop a bit, and aside from buying a brand new MBP, this is the only way I can think of upgrading the SSD (Not to mention a new MBP would cost much more than $900).
Does anyone have any experience with this? It is not under warranty anymore, so I am not concerned with that. I have a good friend that can replace it for me.
Thanks!
