Uploading speed needs increase

I am part of a exclusive torrent site, iptorrents.com and I can barely download from the site because you have to upload as much as you download at a ratio above 1.0

It has been really anoying because I download at around 500-700 Kb/s usually from the site, but I upload incredibally slowly, speeds like 5 - 20 kb/s

Do you guys have any advice, to help me upload faster? I have not limited my upload speeds at all

OSX Leopard - 2.4ghz Macbook - Program is use = Azeurus (now called Vuze)

You upload speed is likely bounded by your service provider. For example on ADSL in London I can happily download at about 800Kbps, but only upload at 40, which is the max the connection can carry...
