Like many others, my current UPS tracking page shows that delivery is scheduled by 10:30am tomorrow morning. But I had read on another thread that someone chatted with a UPS rep and said that all iPhones are being delivered by end of day no matter what the tracking page says. When I read that, I initiated a chat of my own and the UPS agent I spoke with basically said the same thing...that I'd receive the package by end of day and not by 10:30am as I saw on their site. Well I just received the following email from a UPS operations manager saying the following!

Hopefully this new information is correct and I'll be receiving the phone by 10:30 tomorrow morning!

I got my 4S on launch day from UPS around noon last year - I'm pretty sure last year tracking didn't have a deliver by time on it.

I also got my 4 one day before launch around 1 pm from FedEx 2 years ago.

mine has been changing back and forth since I was able to track it.. now it's back to 10:30 am.. I am getting it delivered at work and UPS usually comes at 3:30pm.. if it comes at 10:30 that'll be awesome. But from what I learned in the past with customer service reps you get different answers from each one.

Yeah, I called my local UPS and told them from my experiences I always revived packages late from UPS when I order stuff online. But then again, all of the delivery times in the past said "delivered at the end of the day" . This time around, it says deliver by 10:30 am. Ladie told me if it has a committed time, it should arrive around that time ! That's their promise. So will see. I'm excited.

i just spoke with UPS, and was told as of now, my package will be here by 10:30am. they did say it's subject to change, as they are iPhones and go by different rules in different locations.

doesn't make sense to me why i'd get it later than 10:30, but it could still happen.

It's sad that people are so involved with the TIME OF DAY that they'll get their phone... but this is why people make fun of iphone users.

It's sad? Are you using a flip phone until your new phone arrives? I can't stand another few hours with it let alone a day. I'm sorry I think we should bring back down voting of replies.

As for mister 'slim to none,' do you tell little kids there's no Santa too? Stop being such a jerk!

..Or maybe because people don't sit on the couch all day like you might do and have other things to do.

Delivery time is unimportant IF it's shipped UPS ground. Ground has a guarantee delivery time by end of day. Depending on the drivers route is when it gets dropped off at your house.

If its shipped air, then it has a 10:30 am guarantee delivery time.

And I see it's worldwide express, which might actually guarantee the 1030. Hm

    ----------

Ok. My old boss said worldwide express has a guarantee of 1030 and 1200.

It could make a difference in my day tomorrow. I live close enough to my office where if I get the e-mail from my doorman that a package has arrived I'll swing by, and that way I can set it up during the afternoon at the office (which I need to do eventually since I get work e-mails sent to my iPhone). If not, I'll just set it up when I get home. Friday afternoons tend to be less busy around the office so if it comes in it would be one less thing to do over the weekend.
