So much for the idea that sex education is bad and that kids are having sex more than ever. Hmm...who knew? Oh wait...

It's MTV. I swear it has to be. Shows like Teen Mom and 16 & Pregnant just scare the hell out of me. :D

Sex ed is still useless and incredibly uninformative. When I was in high school (one year ago :D) all they ever did was show pictures of genitals with STDs, then come up with BS reasons why sex is bad. Like lighting a piece of paper on fire and literally saying, "This is what happens when you have sex. As you can see, the fire will take over your relationship, just like your emotions will." These classes are seriously, seriously useless. Incredible waste of tax money.

That's odd. Mine was quite informative and just explained everything in a pretty honest manner. Just because yours was bad, does not make the case that all are.

    Probably because of WoW

Concerning teen mom......I have read that has lead to increased pregnancies due to it being glamorized. Ill try and see if I can find it

Falling crime rate -> more male/female self-segregation -> less sex.

    Not too hard to get.

To play devil's advocate here, wouldn't this be supporting the abstinence only education that has been popular in this country?

A very clever turn of phrase. :D

I happen favour this display by post-pubescent "women", weather permitting.

    Very cute.

That's exactly how all my health classes were.

I believe I saw something similar as well.

I think I found the flaw in the study - they only polled extreme goody-two-shoes students! I'll bet her mother has a "My Daughter is an Honors Student at Hinsdale High School" bumper sticker. ;)

Given the US teen pregnancy rate is so awful, I don't think teen sex dropping slightly would show the particularly great affect of US abstinence education.

Maybe disease trumps "wait for marriage". ;)
