Is it possible to use an iPad as an monitor te view an analog video input?

I do not mean, watch the content of an iPad on an external tv or monitor, but watch an external analog video signal on the iPad.

I know there are various products to make your ipad/iphone a "second screen" (mac and windows) but not sure about directly connecting to analog video source (like a analog camcorder?)
