Hiya, I have recently purchased a new MBP and airport extreme. I have hooked up my external hard drive for back-up and printer to the airport base station but I would like to use my G4 Quicksilver as a central point for some file sharing between my MBP and another MB. I have connected the G4 to the base station by an ethernet lead but now Im stuck!! Can anyone let me know how I can configure them to be networked? I keep messing with stuff and looking in help topics but I am getting a bit stuck! I should pay attention to all the networking talk at work!

Thanks

Liz

Just use Personal File sharing. The only caviot is that unless you have root or admin users, the person will only have their personal folder on the G4. However, if you could use OS 9 on the comptuer you can share any folder to anyone.
