I've never used it, what's the advantages? I surf the forums sometimes on the iPhone.

It's an app for browsing supported forums (php forums I think) in a simpler form which is easier to navigate on your phone and uses leas data which also makes it faster to load. Very good app

I use macrumors straight from safari (mobile version). You could switch to desktop view as well. I have a bookmark for macrumors on my home screen too...fast access :)

Usually when I post on here, I'm on my 4S

It's $3 in app store. Is there a free version?

No I don't think so. But I know a lot of forums use it for example I drive a Prius and people are on priuschat and I see posts from tapatalk too. I usually just go use it on my iPad like a desktop version works just fine and it doesn't cost anything.

I view in safari in mobile view. Prefer this because I don't have leave the app if I want to go to another like the verge or Engadget.

It is worth the $3 trust me! Although I would not buy the iPad version as the iPhone version works just as good on the iPad as well.

I use the default mobile version in Safari. I see no reason to pay for a special app to browse a website.

Absolutely, I view it, respond to posts, all within Safari using desktop, not mobile, view. Works Great.

I prefer Safari, when using my iPhone :)
