The following are the going rates in Vegas for betting on the Mac Pro release. I've seen that this is the hot thing to do at the Bellagio.

Why isn't my year up there? I am going for 2014 (Rockwell processor).

I still like my idea better.. I will bet 100 dollars..

that the mac pro 2010 won't come out at all in August or the remainder of July.. if I win, I keep my 100.. if I lose, then I will gladly pay the 100.00 to the person who overruled my bet.

the House keeps all the money... and I'm not talking about Dr. House like Topper in the post above.

Haha..the last possible date (in the poll) is winning.
That's what I picked.. like picking $1 on the "price is right".. Kinda.

Whats wrong with you people???

Don't you wanna bet?? I am putting up $100.00 as a wager that the mac pro 2010 isn't coming out anytime soon.

No one wants to join in?

r u all afraid?

I honestly do not see a Mac Pro release until after the Annual September iPod update and possibly a school/holiday iMac update. October, if this year at all. The next generation Intel processor roll-outs look a bit cloudy as well. And I doubt the Apple is planning to drop the current Nehalem motherboard for i5/i7 chip designs due to the differences in handling Graphics Cards.

But of course, many pundits have grown gray trying to guess Apple's moves.

I have no problem..

giving away $100.00 - more than enough I have.. one $100.00 loss isn't going to hurt me one bit.. so, are you game or not?

This will prove that we can see the direction in which apple is heading... if it doesn't come out by September or END OF SEPTEMBER, we can assume two things, rather 3..

1. The Mac Pro 2010 isn't going to come out due to technical problems, and or too many other important matters on Apple's hands at the moment and not enough to warrant a new machine pro mac.

2. Apple might skip the westmere/gulftown and move into Sandy Bridge, but unfortionately, sandy bridge will only be a DESKTOP processor architecture and it won't be out for servers until much later in the last of 2011-2012.

3. Apple may very well no longer be interested in revising the mac pro and might let it die off.. I doubt this would happen though.. but it seems this way as every other machine has gotten a refresh.. Imac is due for one very soon.. what amazes me is that Apple isn't refreshing the macbook air - a fine laptop if you ask me, but its not a pro machine..
