Hi all — indie dev here. I built Velko because the Apple TV IPTV space is mostly Android ports, and I wanted something that feels native: SwiftUI throughout, a classic fast TV guide with full EPG, Siri-Remote-first navigation. You bring your own provider (Xtream Codes or any M3U playlist) — Velko ships no content.

1.2 just landed: catch-up (press & hold a channel with the clock glyph → replay the last 24h on providers with an archive), and the free tier changed — Community TV (the open-source iptv-org public channel index) is now free with no time limits, no account, no watermark, so you can try the whole app without a provider.

Things this crowd may care about: no accounts, no analytics, no Velko servers — credentials live in the Keychain, favorites/settings sync across your Apple TVs via your own iCloud. Pricing is $2.99/mo, $24.99/yr, or $39.99 lifetime (launch pricing) with a 7-day trial.

Hmm thanks for the feedback! Search works fine for me on two different providers and the community provider….on both two different Apple TVs and on the emulator. Which AppleTV are you on? I’ll try to replicate it locally!

Thanks for the feedback.

Let me try another method for searching - it works fine for me in the simulator and on two different versions of hardware. My provider must not have as many results or something. I have some ideas - look out for 1.4 sometime tomorrow or Monday depending on how fast Apple approves it 🙂
 
@tasoled455 if you have a few minutes, could you tell me if search works on Community TV profile? (Don't worry, it's just a few clicks to change it back!). That'll tell me if its an issue with the core search functionality or if it's something different with the provider (most likely due to the quantity of results or something)
 
I just submitted 1.4 to the App Store with some major search improvements + tabbed search. You should definitely notice improvements with this version!
