Pretty sure the Wyoming National Guard would be sufficient to take them. I'd imagine transforming a failed socialist country over to capitalism is easier to do than a Islamic theocracy run out of a mud hut on the side of a hill. Just tell Bernie to look away while we do it.

Commemorative Air Force has more warplanes that Venezuela has.

And would readily fly over and show it!

Yes, we now have TWO B-29 airworthy!!
(bomber that brought Japan and North Korea to knees, most advanced aircraft in world for years)

OK, it's still good for use as cooking oil. Makes the chicken Mcnuggets taste extra delish.

Why is Venezuela so upset with Trump for banning its officials from entering the United States? Surely they would never want to leave the socialist utopia.

    you should read the article

    Second paragraph

He's mad because he can't do business and I don't blame him. The issue with Trumps policy is he's forcing even more cozy-up with the Russians.

We've been directly trying to force capitalism on the country, both via force and economic weaponry, for well over 30 years.

Now, no one wants to discuss that many of the ills of the country are because of those economic mechanism, but hey lets continue on the "America, **** yea!" vs "Country X that doesn't like us because we keep trying to choose their governments" mindless narratives right?

Let's also not forget that Trump's version of foreign policy is exactly the same as the last 30 years of presidents, he's just the guy that's too stupid to wear the mask in a friendly manner.

Like much of our dealing in South America I don't think you're ever going to find proof of anything but it's been long held that we backed Coup's fund anti-government groups and the like down there.

Having proof of something is a pretty big driving factor to making an argument.

Latin America is crawling with covert US assets and intelligence agency funded gangs/"revolutionaries". The same ones that strike out seemingly random violence. Our goal is to destabilize nations (the ones we want to) via stoking violence and discontent internally. We do this everywhere we don't like a government. Literally everywhere. Ukraine was a great example.

But like lots of things the military and the spooks do all the proof is going to be classified.

Venezuela's entire well being is predicated on one thing, Oil. If the price is high, the country does well, when the price is low, we're seeing what happens. If the US economy and all our livelihoods were dependent on corn, we'd all be ****ed.
