Hey guys,

I have a question.
Right now I am still with my 4s on a Verizon unlimited plan ($89.99) with the 3G Hotspot 2GB option (29.99).

So let's say I keep this plan for the iPhone5, will my hotspot as 4G also be limited to the 2GB or could I really make use of my unlimited plan?

The people at Verizon either don't know or are just guessing, but I didn't get any firm answer from them.

Thanks,
Daniel

Do you have a family plan? If you activate a subsidized phone on your line you will lose unlimited - if you have another line - you transfer your upgrade to that line and then switch it back after activation to the line with unlimited.

Or you buy the phone full price and keep your old data plan

Yes. Your plan changes to a 4G plan and the tethering changes to $30 to use it as an unlimited hotspot . Either way, you keep your unlimited and get to tether unlimited.

I have only one line and I would buy the phone at full price.

My question is, if the hotspot will be still limited to the 2GB like in the 3G network or if the hotspot in 4G will be unlimited?

Thanks Jinzen,
that's great!!
Exactly what I wanted to know
