Has anyone else noticed there is a speech-to-text become super*** slow recently with the latest iOS update? Using an iPhone SE 2020 and an app called Teacher. It is handy to dictate vs type sometimes when using it. Maybe it’s only the app and not other apps as much, but it’d be great to learn if there were some setting that I could adjust or something else to make the dictation less clunky.
Thanks for any ideas

I have seen exactly the same issue for the past week. I was hoping that it was temporary as I use that feature every day. I just upgraded to Ventura and unfortunately it is now super slow on my computer as well. It doesn't seem to affect every application equally though. I am dictating this right now and it is working great although if I use my Mail app it is super slow.

Hmm yeah thanks for the input. I’m not sure what it is either. For me it happens with the Notes app the most on my Macbook. Also with the iphone Teacher app which I guess is an obscure app that most people on MR don’t use. Makes me tempted to try to upgrade to a newer phone as it’s a small issue but something I run into almost daily, that can really slow down my workflow.
