Aren't they both the same, caring more about the unborn than post born? But I only know I'm ignorant on both their stances on enough issues to say I need to read up on much more, since the VP position isn't as irrelevant as most people claim it to be. And some issues mean less to me than they did a decade ago when I was more idealistic...

All I do remember is, Kaine was mentioned as a top possibility for Obama's consideration in 2008.

This debate might be interesting if for no other reason that it is the only one so far this entire presidential election season that has the candidates seated at a table.

Second debate in a row that the candidates are wearing the opposite team colors. What's up with that?!!!

    Lol.
I think that at the end of the debate they will both defect and go for a Kaine/Pence ticket ;)

Well, Tim certainly isn't feeling very robotic today. He's quite passionate.

Aye! This is turning into a **** show already. All they are doing is talking over each other and not saying much and not giving each other a chance for rebuttal.

Pence is too soft spoken! I can't hear ANYTHING he's saying...I am SHOCKED at Tim...I didn't know he was this aggressive. Wow. SO much for Bill controlling the VP.

"You can't work full time and be below poverty level"- Tim Kaine

    I love it.

Why does Pence keep bringing up "war on coal"? It's sounds offing ridiculous. Coal isn't the future and never will be. Those workers need to move on into the clean energy sector.

    It's happening AGAIN!

CLINTON/KAINE are PREPARED!! This dude is doing exactly what Hillary did to Trump in the debate!

Poor soft spoken Pence. He has to defend Trump. Jeez. That's already a losing battle.

I like that Mike Pence looked right at the camera and talked to the audience. That was a nice touch and didn't seem overly contrived. But he isn't answering questions.

    Can't meet the Nixon standard......lol.

    "They they go again"???

I don't think weak attempts at recycling Reagan lines will do Pence any good.

I noticed that. Even paused hoping for an applause. Too bad Kaine didn't pick up on it. "Governor, you are no Ronald Reagan."
