Next thing ... Fox will agree to pay for the wall. Mexico needs the US more than the US needs Mexico as a trading partner and source for huge influxes of money. How can Trump force Fox to pay for the wall? Block all financial transfers from US banks to Mexico. Done. Fox will fund the wall in a heartbeat and apologize for calling Trump a crazy man and false profit.
Do you say stuff like this to get a rise out of people, or you genuinely believe 1) the wall will not only be built, but 2) Mexico will pay for it, and 3) blocking all 'financial transfers' from US banks to Mexico would a practical solution?
Of course it will be built, and yes Mexico will pay for it. It's all about economics.
Will Trump freeze transfers between US and Mexican banks? Who knows. There are plenty of economic levers he can use to get it done - and you can bet on it happening.
You may have missed the part where Fox is no longer President of Mexico.
I don't think Fox knows that himself yet.
1. it won't be
2. Mexico said it wouldn't. So now what? War? Heck, why not go back in time to when we battled Mexico to take the land known as Texas and surrounding areas and just take more? Of course, then Hershey, Ford, Carrier, etc, would have had to move even farther away to make their poor quality junk even poorer. Still, from the other viewpoint, other machine makers build here and build better quality equipment, so there's more going on...
3. Absolutely, that one is practical, feasible, and doable.
Trump is more likely going to try to freeze transfers. Maybe even do more to go after companies that hire illegals, which in turn lowers wages on legals, if he cares about this issue he is running on and he sounds passionate enough on the issue that I believe him. Which is why no American wants the job, because we've got bigger and more bills to pay and America sorta abolished slavery 151 years ago - it's funny how nobody mentions that last sentence, it's not unlike taking words out of an amendment to distort and paint a different pictrure...
Oh, why I say "he" - Congress, when GOP controlled, which has been 13 of the last 15 years and for 6 of those was filibuster-proof, hasn't done much to turn anything around, and the Democrats didn't have a filibuster-proof majority for the 2 they had (never mind the Democrats have two different factions and there are enough "DINOs"i that made things pointless to try, especially if a president otherwise wants to veto something but knows it would cost more money and resources to let Congress sit there to override it... but why not executive orders that help all the people?)
But let's find out HOW said wall will be built, how Mexico will pay for it, and who is held responsible if it isn't, which isn't about economics but illegal immigration. Will you take responsibility if Trump isn't able to follow through or if he misled you? Why or why not? (Because, it's pretty obvious that a big magic wall isn't feasible when a few laws and means of enforcement at that companies that do the hiring...)
