Here's the link. Basically the robbers had a family at gunpoint, and when they heard the cops in GTA say that they had the building surrounded, they thought it was real life. They definitely deserve a place in the America's Stupidest Criminals hall of fame...
 
This is just proof people who break the law are stupid. That TV must of had a good sound system to make it sound realistic.
 
There are smart criminals and dumb criminals, and you know for a fact anybody holding up families in a robbery attempt is way down on the idiot end of the scale--that's just not the way to make money, even if you have no morals and are willing to risk your life and freedom for it.

So, as hard to believe as this is, I'd be willing to buy it. Too bad they're not eligible for a Darwin Award, as deserving as they are.
 
Such perfect timing for the game to say that. Now that will give parents a reason to so it's OK for a child to play video games. :D
 
LOL, what a lovely domestic scene...Granny knitting in the chair, while the grandkids yank people out of cars and then run from the cops, mowing down bystanders on the way...then come the REAL criminals, who maybe should have familiarized themselves with the game before they pulled the job.

Words cannot accurately describe my feelings on this one.
