Video Games portray Religion as Violent

    I thought this was funny and to share, if only because people spent money to research obvious things.

    A University of Missouri doctoral student says many modern videogames "problematize" organized religion by equating it with violence in their stories.

    It's a video game. Violence is emphasized to increase the action. To think religion is being treated unfairly in any way is ridiculous.

    Not sure where anyone would get the idea that religions are problematic and violent...

    Next up: An in-depth study of how the Monty Python franchise depicts Christian Crusaders as being not only violent, but terrible at solving puzzles--when they were really only trying to just find that blasted cup.

    You would not need such a study here in Europe. All the countries of Europe are scarred by the religious wars from the past 1,500, the last being Bosnia.
